履帶張緊裝臵由油缸、張緊橫梁和張緊彈簧組成。張緊的方法是：用高壓油槍將鈣基潤滑脂從注油嘴注入油缸，推動活塞，再通過張緊橫梁推動從動輪移動實現(xiàn)履帶張緊。當需要松弛時，緩慢逆時針方向旋轉(zhuǎn)注油閥使之松開，潤滑脂將從排油口排出。 注意：如果左右兩側(cè)履帶下垂量不同，履帶行走時會跑偏。
